The documentary gives an insight into the family of world famous painter Gottfried Helnwein. He grew up in Austria after the Nazi-Era and became famous for his hyper-realistic oil-paintings, depicting wound children. For the very first time, his own children, Cyril (34), Mercedes (32) and Ali (30) are portrayed in a very private way. They are already well known in the international art-world. Cyril is a photographer, Mercedes is a painter and Ali is a music composer.
